Question about Chevrolet Malibu
Chevy 1978- 305 engine, Bank #1, from front to back is 1-3-5-7 Bank #2, from front to back is 2-4-6-8. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Distributor rotation is clockwise. 8 degrees BTDC.You should always use the under the hood sticker for the propper settings and how to proceed. This is the best diagram that I could find, the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and the ignition rotor rotation is counterclockwise.

find num 1 on the distributor and work clock wise
the cyl num are labaled on the intake manifold!!!
