Question about 2008 Honda Civic
I can't recall having to remove one recently on a Honda Civic but most covers on Honda's interior lights snap into place.
Use a small screwdriver to gently push back the edges to locate a tab that locks the cover into the housing. Push back at the tab area until it pops out.
Replace the bulb.
There you are.
Thank you for using FixYa and have a happy New Year.

You will have to pry off the lens CAREFULLY using a small screwdriver. There are two little plastic protrusions on each long side of the lens which fit into the casement. You can ease the casement away from the lens enough to get it to pop out. Re-inserting it is the same, but probably easier.
Gently, give it a try.
Hope this helps you.
