Sounds like you battery wont hold much charge,, or the alternator is not charging , should put out aprox 13 to 15 volts when running , and if so then your battery wont hold a charge , one of the first things you could check is the battery terminals and connections are clean, use a wire brush and clean the posts and wire terminals. lots of times a dirty ground connection will seem like a dead battery and a simply boost will get you going , make sure you remove the ground clamp first and install it last to prevent shorting out the battery, a simple solution of backing soda and water will remove and clean your battey posts and tops.

This could be your alternator or battery. To check it you will need to get a volt meter, once the car is running put the volt meter wires to the battery terminals the negitive and positive. and if the battery volts are less the 12v it is your alternator if not and you get above 12v it is your battery.

Another way to check it is get another jump and have an auto parts store like AutoZone go test them for FREE!

I belive your alternator is bad or if there is an additional output of power like a car alarm or even a dome light that will drain your battery

This sounds like a bad battery. Remove the battery and take to to your local auto parts store to have them check it.

Mazda wont start, brand new battery

sounds like you have a failing ecu. the capacitors in the ecu are worn out. there has been a lot of problems with the ecu on mazda's over the years, only take one out put overload from the alternator and the ecu starts playing up. no codes come up as it don't code its self. having the battery off is like a reset.

You need to have the factory security system scanned, it is most likely locking you out due to a fault.

2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.
