I have a 1994 honda accord lx..heater fan was makin funny noises for a while..then stopped working..started working and stopped again..Is it hard to replace..could it be a fuse..I;m a girl..could I do it myself?

The heater fan is on the right side floor board under the dash. It is a little tough to do but not extremely hard. If the blower was making noise, it could be something in the heater housing. If it is starting and stopping it is probably the blower motor. When replacing the blower motor you may have to remove the fan from the motor depending on where you buy a new one. The fans (usually made of plastic) break very easy. If you attempt this, be very careful in removing the fan.

Under the dash on the right side you will have to lay on the floor and look up. There may be a lower dash panel to remove. The motor is just below the glovebox. Removed the wire, remove the bolts/screws attaching the blower to the housing. Remove the blower.
