Questions for you. Is the fuel pump working? When you turn the key(just not enough to turn the starter), do you hear the fuel pump? Should be like a buzzing noise for about 10 to 15 seconds. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? They do get clogged and will halt the flow of fuel. That's all I can say with what you typed.

Getting fuel to the throttle body is controlled by the electrical system, fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, fuel pump cutout switch, and the fuel pump. The first thing to check is the fuses. If you turn the ignition on (everything else off so it is quiet), you should hear a small "hum" of the fuel pump running. If you don't hear this, check the fuse. If the fuses are good, check the cutout switch. You will have to check for specific location of this switch. It is a switch that if your car is in a wreck the fuel pump will shut off to avoid a fire hazard. There is a reset button on this switch. After that, if you still don't get any fuel, the easiest cure is to change the fuel filter. So after all of the above items are checked, there is probably a problem with the fuel pump (located in the gas tank).

Not getting gas to throttle body

Throttle body only regulates air, fuel goes to injectors. Check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

1998 chevy tahoe 4x4 wont start. not getting fuel to throttle body. its not a fuel pump relay i tried it. it will start if i pour gas in the throttle body

fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. When you turn the key do you hear fuel pump run? If not odds are the pump is bad.

Engine wont fire until fuel is poured in throttle body

1993 s-10 should have a 4.3 engine. Your symptoms tell me your throttle body injector is clogged, and only allows so much fuel to pass through it. Therefore, on a idle there is not enough fuel coming through to keep the engine running, or to start it. If you replace the throttle body injector your issue should cease.

I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

I have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring that wont idle. The car starts and will run only if I step on the gas pedal.

clean the IAC. Use spray carb cleaner and spray the idle air control valve. It is on the throttle body near the throttle plate. It may have become stuck with deposits.

Clean the throttle body as well. Check for vacuum leaks
