Yes. Each of the doors has a window module. You have to remove the door panel - a pain to do. I would check the wires once inside by moving them around while holding the window switch on. I have had several cases of just poor connections. (Found this out after buying a window module an having the same issue.)

The rear RHS door window is not working on a Mazda BT 50 4x4 double cab 3.2 2010 model, what should I check before assuming the winder motor should be replaced?

1st-check the fuse
2nd-try operating window from drivers door and rear right door to confirm its maybe not the window switch thats faulty
3rd-when pressing the switch if you can hear the motor running then the mech is broken
4th- if you can slide the window up and down almost half way by hand replace the motor and mech
5th-after removing the door panel unplug the motor and using a volt meter confirm that power is present when activating the switch

2001 Pontiac Bonneville Power locks and power windows dont work

Your power windows an door locks are controlled by a door module .
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. Each passenger door power window can be operated, either from a switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA), or from a switch mounted locally on its associated door. The driver door power window can only be operated from the driver door window switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).
When the driver door module (DDM) receives a window switch request from the DDSA, the DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation to occur. If the status information is correct, the DDM, either supplies power and ground to its associated window motor, or, if the request is for one of the passenger windows, sends a command via the power door serial data circuit to the passenger door module (PDM, LRDM, or RRDM) controlling the window. The passenger door module (PDM, LRDM, or RRDM) controlling the window then supplies power and ground to its associated window motor to move the window as requested.
When one of the local window switches mounted on one of the passenger doors is operated, the associated door module examines the request and checks to see if there are any messages from the DDM prohibiting the movement. If conditions are correct, and no prohibitive messages have been received from the DDM, the associated door module then supplies power and ground to its associated window motor to move the window as requested.
Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop !

2001 aurora rear door lock and window does not work

There is a door module in each door. This could be the issue and would be the next part I would try. I have also had issues with the connectors going to this module.
Note also that the switches are tied into the master switch on the drivers door. Make sure the "window lock" is not on. Although this would not effect the power door lock.

The usual source for the window problem is the wiring between the inside front door and the kick panel where the wires run in a harness and are usually rubber booted. Everytime the door opens and closes the wires are bent back and forth and they break.

How to remove inside door panel, passenger side, to look at window track

Screws in the door pull under the rubber matt - then poppers all around the door edge. when panel is loose look carefully behind and disconnect elec plugs for windows and speakers. Then carefully work the door panel over and past the door release handle - this is tight and can be awkward take your time. The window mech. often breaks as it is plastic !! order a new mech but keep your motor as this is a separate item to buy! the lifter is released by a plastic pin to the glass mount - you have to push it out - again awkward - take care with this
hope this helps - good luck !

At the moment, I'm just talking about the front passenger side window. On the hinge side of passenger door, should be wiring harness, probably has protective covering, pull the covering back to expose wire colors. Note the wire colors for battery and ground. Battery is voltage, use a test light, check both orange wires for voltage. You can use to testlight also to check ground, check both grounds. With test light connected to battery voltage, probe the ground wire, both of them, if the lite comes on, at least the ground is good enough to turn on the test light.

I have a 2001 lincoln town car. The driver window went down, but won't go back up. Was told I needed a new door module. Just purchashed a new door module for it and the driver window still won't go up....

Can you hear the window motor work? If positive, then you have a mechanical problem. Possibly the cable lifter is not installed properly. If motor is dead check fuse box.

Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.
