Question about 1993 Subaru Legacy
Your clutch has a concentric bearing situated inside the gearbox, oil all over means that the seal broke and when you pressed the clutch the liquid went into the gearbox, onto the disc and than out through small gaps that are always there in the gearbox. Solution is simple but time taking, you need to remove the gearbox, take out the cylinder, examine the seal, replace it, bleed it ( not like normal clutch only by releasing air via nipple), examine for any leaks and than put everything back in with a new clutch.
