Hi

The fuse is normally the same for the ignition live that runs to the car radio, do you have preset radio channels on your car radio, if so do they also do the same when you shut off the car? if so thats the issue, ignition live in line fuse.

Regards

Dan

1996 nissan maxima ever since I put in a new battery the radio and clock do not work. checked fuses all are fine.

Hi,

If this is still the factory head unit then you need to reenter the security code so that it will operate again.
As for the clock, you may have a faulty connector or blown back light bulb. The clock maybe working but you cant see it as the backlighting is not working.

Thanks

Jason

I need the fuse box index for a 96 nissan maxima. in other words which fuse is for the radio, wipers, lighter, etc..... thanx

Hello,
The fuse diagram is on the inside of the fuse box cover.
The fuse box you want is on the inside of the car, on the driver's side, under the dashboard, near the driver's door.
It is a pop-off cover. If you check the fuses there and don't find a blown fuse, you may want to check the fuse box under the hood for any blown fuses, ( fusible links.)

Is there a fuel reset button for the fuel pump on my 1992 Nissan Maxima? If so where is located.

There is no fuel pump reset button on the 1992 Maxima. Check your fuel pump fuse under the dash. If it's not blown, check for current at the fuel pump connections. If you have current at the pump, then you probably have a bad fuel pump.
