You adjust the steel u-loop on the bottom & top of the door frame. loosen the bolts [ be careful not to snap them off because of corrosion ] a little and tap the loop in toward the center of the cab, just a little, a bit of movement affects the latches a lot.

My 05 navigator tailgate will not lock on the second locking point and if i touch the door it will reopen

Most likely cause is a loose latch. Inspect both the hook on the door and the latch for looseness or signs that the latch has shifted on the mounting point. If it is loose, see if you can put back in the original position and tighten. If not loose, might just need an adjustment.

Passenger side automatic sliding door does not latch properly.

hi dan. on the sliding door,if you look at the art of the door frame where it latches, you will see 3 or 4 screws that hold the latch in place. with wear these will either become loose,or even though feel tight, will allow te latch to shift positions. loosen the screws, adjust the latch forward or back until it latches. then remove the screws and apply loc-tite to the threads to keep this from happening again.
