Sounds like the heater control valve/actuator. Should be under the dash mid to passengers side. It connects to the blend door inside the box. It opens and closes from the control on the dash. Local auto parts should be able to tell you where it is exactly. Hope this helps, Mike

My 1998 Ford Explorer Defrost Heater isn't blowing any air to the defrost Is this a fuse?

If your front blower motor isn't working on any setting, could be the blower motor itself, the blower resistor, or sometimes the wire pigtail to either one could be the problem.

2001 nissan maxima heater blower isnt blowing

Check the fuse for the blower motor. If its okay, check for power at the heater motor. If you have power, and no blow, the blower motor will need to be replaced.

The front heater temp control isnt working. full cold there isnt any heat but when i turn the temp control just one notch it puts out full heat. there is no control its either on or off

Hi,
That sounds like your resistor block/controller is already shorted to hi fan speed.
Replace the resistor controller, located behind the glove box compartment, on the heater & A/C blower box.
You can't miss it, it has 3 wirings and a connector.

Hope that helps!

Front heat isnt working but back seat heat does 98 explorer

Both front and rear heaters run off different fuses so check the owner's manual for the location of the fuse and replace it. If you don't have the owner's manual a Haynes or Chilton's manual will also have the fuse box diagram and are very useful to own.
