There are 2 clips on the window that are connected to the track. They are glue on and then screwed in. they have a bad habit of breaking. Its not a hard fix but it does take some time.

Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from body to doors.
Do you know about electronic control modules ?
The power window system consists of the following components:
?€¢
Driver door module (DDM)

?€¢
Passenger door module (PDM)

?€¢
Body control module (BCM)

?€¢
LR power window switch

?€¢
RR power window switch

?€¢
Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches

?€¢
Window lockout switch

?€¢
Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

?€¢
LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)

?€¢
RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The DDM contains 4 power window switches which are integral components. Closing any of the normally open, rocker type switches provides the DDM with a request for power window operation. The switches for the 2 front windows have 3 positions Up, Down and Express Down, while the switches for the rear windows have only 2 positions, Up and Down. Each of these switches and their positions is a direct input into the DDM. Upon receiving a request for power window operation, the DDM, transmits a class 2 message indicating the switch and it's changed position.
The PDM contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDM with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 2 positions Up and Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDM.
The 2 rear passenger doors have there own switches. Each of the switches contain a power window up and down relay. A switch activation alone can control the up and down functions of the rear windows. However the BCM, upon receiving a class 2 message from the DDM, can control the set of relays which will activate the rear window motors.

Replace power window assembly

Unless both rear windows had motor, switch
or regulator issues by themselves- which is
unlikely you lost both rear windows as a result

You need a wiring diagram to get a feel for
what your working with as far as control of
the electical to each door/window

On my 2003 grand prix ac blows cold on passengers side blows warm on drivers side changed blend door auctuater problem still exists what else could it be

no idea, but you figure it out, be sure to put it on here. My wife's 2002 GP does the same thing. Raise the passenger side controller then slam it down, it will stay cool till the next stop sign. Then do it again. Its gotten us by for the last few months since its happened.

On my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8, the driver door control for the rear passenger side window does not work up or down, but the window control on the rear passenger side door works to make the window go...

Check wiring harness in between door and body, most likley there is a broken wire in this harness.
To get the window up you will need to remove the panel and apply a power and ground direcly to the moter connector. if it does not go up then reverse the polarity

I have a 2001 Grand Am Se. My problem is my rear passenger window keeps falling (going) down, it wont stay up.

Problem with the motor, internally, this engine has a "carbon" and depegan stick when the switch is activated. For reasons of wear, could fail to raise the glass.

Take off and check it.

2003 grand am-rear window lowers but wont raise-motor working both directions-can raise window by hand-dont know about cable operated-diagrams?

Sounds like the two tabs that connect the window glass to the motor hardware may be broken off. This happened to me before. It will let the window go down because gravity and the weight of the window let it fall but when you try to close the window it is only getting pushed up with either the front or back tab on the window jamming it in the tracks and not letting it go up.

MY POWER WINDOW IN MY 2003 GRAND MARQUIS WON'T GO UP.

If you are getting power the window regulator is the name of the part that connects the window to the window motor. The drivers door gets the most use and therefore breaks the most. Some of the motors had bad welds. The motors are cross-changeable, meaning the left front and right rear match and the passenger front and drivers REAR match. A parts store can confirm this. Used parts are cheaper and the motor can be tested out of the car to see if it works.
