the quick connect fitting can be removed from the transmission, and usually your old fittings can screw right in,here are a couple of quick connect fittings pics. to give you a better idea of how to remove them.
To know exactly what type of transmission was installed on your vehicle, you got tho check the Transmission ID Label, located usually on the right side of the transmission. Here is a picture of the transmission label ID location. It will tell you the type of transmission installed on your particular yr. /model vehicle.
