My passenger side headlight will not pop on by the switch. What might be wrong with it and is there a way to manually put it up.

Assuming the headlight housing is not damaged, the motor or the relay may be at fault. Try switching the breakers (found under the hood- check your owner's manual for the exact location). Also check your fuses. If you can get the headlight to come up by switching the relay breakers, remove the breaker prior to turning off the lights. That might make the light stay up. There should be a small manual operator located behind the light housing that can be used to put up the light.

\1991 geo metro dim headlight pass side

in low beams or high or both?
that is caused by:
1: bad held lamp. old lamps can go dim.
swap left and right, if dim follows bulb, bingo weak bulb or wrong type bulb. buy matching blubs (same brand and P/n)
2: bad wiring to lamp. damaged wires, or connectors to same.
4: bad combo switch. (if low beams)
5: bad fuse or holder, corrosion , to either.
head lamp fuses. there are 2. left and right.
6: hackers, many hackers put in wrong lights. inspect it.

Put a new multifunction switch on an it didn't solve the problem, still no power on either side of the headlight fuses

The power goes thru the fuse, then thru the headlight switch, then the dimmer switch. If you don't have power at the fuse you may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams to trace the circuit back to the battery. Its supposed to be hot all the time.

I have a 2004 chevy imapala, the headlight on the drivers side will not work, we switched the headlight with the passenger headlight and it works fine and the passenger did the same thing on the drivers...

If the good bulb worked on both sides and the bad bulb did not work on either side [I think this what you said] then the bulb is burnt out.
Just to be sure see if the supposed defective bulb works on High beam.

I have a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder the passenger side headlight will not come on but there is power and if I plug the bulb into the drivers side it lights. I have checked the fuses under the hood and they are...

if it's like a Quest, the relay on the passenger fender controls the left headlight and vice versa.

Could also be the headlight switch, I have seen that too.

Passenger side headlight only works on high beam. Have replaced bulb, still no low beam

If you put it in; did you touch the bulb with your fingers? If so, I've seen bulbs pop as soon as they're put in. The oil from your skin leaves a residue, and the heat goes to it, and blows the bulb. wear jersey or latex gloves when you re-install new bulb. If it still doesn't work, replace headlight bulb socket

Removing the whole pop head lights assembly from my 1997 corvette

Raise the headlights, either with the switch or manually by turning the knob on the headlight motor counter-clockwise.
Unplug the lights NOW to avoid an accidental closing on your fingers,
Remove the 3 philips screws holding the black plastic surrounding the headlights, and slide it forward, there is a small clip on the top that helps hold it to a corresponding clip at the top of the headlight,
Look inside the cavity and you can see the 5 nuts/bolts ( 6 on later years ) that need to be removed,
If you are on the driver's side you can now remove the whole assembly, on the passenger's side you must first unplug the headlight door control module.
