Sounds like he may have blown out all your main bus fuses and or relays.

Check and replace, sorry thats the best I got, this can be very tricky.

Good luck

There are fusible links, usually located near the battery attached to the big red cable, or near the starter motor and again attached to the big main battery wire.

How to attach 6 red wires on 1998 ford contour

The biggest diameter wire goes to biggest fuse. All the wires to the fuse box are the same. Doesn't matter which goes where. The alternator wire goes to the side of the panel. 175 amp fuse.

Had to replace fuse inline alternator how can I transfer the inline fuse to a different wire

the cable /fuse to alternator has nothing to do with the start and run function if the battery is charged up and in good condition ,sounds like the main battery cables have a bad contact/connection or battery is shot<follow battery cables and remove all points of connection in engine bay area clean contacts with sandpaper and resecure all connections 1 AT A TIME! to make sure none are swapped around by mistake ) on both earth cable/negative and the positive/power cables, make sure terminals on battery are clean and tight , try boosting/jump starting your battery with jumper cables connected from another cars battery positive to positive .........negative to negative and see if it starts ,i doubt the problem of starting up is the alternator unless battery is flat and not being charged by alternator ,by jump starting with another baterry will give you the answer once all baterry cables and connections are clean and secure

There should be a fuse box under the hood and in the car. The one under the hood is most likely to be the one with blown fuses after doing that. If thats not the problem you probably burned up a fusible link which is in the wire harness and can be a trick to find. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.

Unfortunately he probably fried the wires or blew all the fuses. You can also check the fuse box because i bet most of the fuses blew. You can probably replace the fuses and get a few it not all of the lost functions to work. If not you will probably need to have the car towed to a shop have have them put a new wiring harness in the car.

Car wont start, contstant ticking from engine.

Locate the ticking noise. It is a relay that has gone bad.

Check the fuses. There is a good chance you might have blown one or a few if you some how didnt connect the jumper correctly which would explain some of the accessories not working.

Electrical Problem for a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer

Hey everyone with this problem! Theres a fuse under the hood in the front of the fuse box. Its black and its not in the bow itself but under the cover though! two nuts hold it in place where your cable line comes in from the battery. The fuse costs $15.00 avg. most anyplace! Easy to change and everything will work inside your vehicle! Without it the vehicle will start and run but you will have no functions on the interior, or dash!
