How too remoove driver side fender 2005 envoy

once you have removed the headlight assembly and remove the bolt behind the headlight assembly, continue locating the 10mm bolts attaching the fender along the top side, along the bottom in front and behind of the tire, open the drivers side front door, look into the opening between the door hinges and with a flashlight and a long extension on your ratchet you will then remove the two bolts between the fender and door, one on top and one at the bottom. you also have to remove the retaining bolts that attach the inner fender liner to the fender.

The front driver side door was "stuck" wouldn't easily move past a certain point. So I "forced" it. I believe the front inner fender well liner is now cracked. 1. why would this happen literally all of...

More than likely the door was rubbing the fender, usually from an accident where the fender has been pushed or rolled towards the door edge. If you don't care about the finish of the vehicle, then locate through your contacts, some one with paint & body experience and they will know how to temporarily align the panels from not rubbing; until your ready to repair it correctly. Fender liners crack when in accidents.

Driver door rubs against fender, will not allow door to open and close properly . Its wear the skirt of the driver door exterior. Truck is a 2007 ss silverado

sounds like one of the door hinges may need to be adjusted or worn enough to either re-align the door or replace a hinge pin providing the fender hasn`t been hit or become mis-adjusted.

DS door is rubbing on front fender when opening and closing. How can I adjust door to keep from happening? 2007 2500 silverado HD (classic)

it is easier to to adjust the fender cause if you move the door it could cause you a huge headache tring to get it to line up at the latch and you could cause numorous wind noises and air leaks.

Does my front driver's fender well affect my tires when it rubbing? and if so what's the cheapest way of fixing it

Yes becasue you can get tire wear or even damge your fender well and no there is never a cheap way to fix anything. You have to get smaller tires or just get a fit kite, you may even want to try bigger front springs.

Ps: If you know how to heat your springs to the right temp without mealting them you could make them longer but i don't recommend it

1994 Honda Accord 4 door. Fender removal to adjust door.

Should have kept going-it's just screws or bolts, but some are almost hidden-like front of fender and rear along door opening. Take off fender lining and look some more.
I sort of know what you mean-can be hard to get to the door hinges. have you tried like a universal joint in your ratchet and socket?

Door rubbing on front fender when opening and closing on my 2005 chevy trailblazer how do i adjust the door

At first check if the door hanger's are OK. This item is the first that quit his job on most SUV's and cars. Open your door to half, then try to lift the door up. If that happens, change the door hanger incl. 2 metal rings(one on top, one at the bottom) this part cost only some bucks. If you need to adjust the door, there are 2 screws on the body, this let the door slips front/rear, and -if your car is equipped with - there are 2 screws at the door, that let the door swing up and down. If it rubbs on the fender, take the doors backwards for only 2mm.
