Question about 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager
A code has been stored to alert you to the fact that something has malfunctioned and should be addressed. On a 92' you should be able to cycle key in ignition to retrieve those/that code. Here's the procedure: Turn ignition key to ON position (not start) then OFF, then ON, then OFF, then ON, and leave on this time. Have a pen and paper ready to write down number of flashes from "check engine" light, which indicates a 2 digit number. It will always be a 2 digit number, with a short pause in between them.. For example: 2 flashes, pause , then 2 more would be code 22. 3 flashes, pause, then 5 more, would be code 35. When you get code 55 which is 5 flashes, pause, then 5 more, that means end of message, or codes. Giving you a link to those codes and what they refer to (scroll down the page) and if you need more help with explanation of what to do about those codes, feel free to get back to me/us, and we will be glad to further assist you. Retrieving and interpreting those codes will point everyone in the right direction rather than wasting time and money and guessing where the problem may be.
If you'd rather just return with those codes for advice on repair, that 's good too. Please reply with engine size as well. Good Luck.
