Most likely cause is a front wheel speed sensor malfunction. You will need a scanner to find out which one does not read correctly and then remove the sensor and clean the boss of the hub from rust, then replace the sensor.

2003 mustang when traction control light comes on the car lose power almost like shutting down, when it goes off it pick up speed.

The traction control system DOES cut your engine power when the tires spin. That is by design. The system cuts engine power to stop the wheels spinning and restores power once the wheels regain traction. It feels odd when the tires spin and power cuts out. It's good practice to lift off the accelerator when the system kicks in. Otherwise, if you are on gravel or slick streets the tires may spin, stop when traction control kicks in, and then spin again when power is restored. It is not an "elegant" solution but it does work for the most part.

Car boggs down when condenser fan runs

Hi Roger, I believe that you have more than one possible problem. The first is if the belt is not tight enough it will squeak. If the vacuum tubing to the relays controlling the up idle are broken or leaking the up idle will not work and as the drag caused when engaging the AC is substantial the engine revs will drop or can cause the engine to stall. If there is a problem with the AC compressor, it can also cause the symptoms you're reporting. The sound of the fan operating will increase with the volume of air circulated, which is normal, but I'm not sure what sound you're referring to? Regards John

Usually caused by a wheel speed sensor on the drive wheels. Check the sensor mounting, wiring, and tone ring for damage.

How do I know when my Traction control is working on my 2010 Touring? We live in Northeastern Ohio and I seem to be sliding alot when I go to stop and I'm not speeding. Thank You!

A good way of testing the traction control is to stop on a slippery road and then take off fast as to spin the wheels there when wheels start to spin the traction should activate and stop the spinning wheels you may hear it kick inand a light on the dash will say trac active or trac on, as far as sliding when stopping this is where the abs would come in,abs anti skid brake system, this system when you are braking would release the sliding or skidding wheel and you would felt it in the brake pedal, good luck, hope this helps.
