0.42 it says on the sticker under your hood. if you buy a iradium plug no need to gap

Recommended GAP is .044
- Formula Shell Motor oil 5W-20- Motorcraft Synthetic Blend Motor Oil 5W-20- Valvoline Premium Conventional 5W-20

Capacitie: Motor Oil 5+ Jug.

There is no best,you install what the manufacturer recommends

Check your owners manual and under the hood you may find the plug # on the
emission label as well as the plug setting (gap)

Any brand as long as it is the correct heat range and OE Configuration,not some
4 prong over advertised parts

After changing my spark plugs my car is now spurtting...

did you properly gap the spark plugs?? Gap the plugs properly!! If the problem still exist, check all plug wires for looseness or breakage and replace all (recommended). These issues will cause your vehicle to misfire/sputter!!
