Currently having the same problem. The battery finally drain, That because I had or still have problem with driver side door closing. Before I gave up on it the solution was to close make sure the all doors were fully close. Then light goes off. There's switch on the door that's grounded into the car frame itself. Open/close.. should not be a big deal to fix that's why I didn't bother really taking up on it.

Inside lights wont go off! help please

The door switch which is located on the inside of the door frame (both doors or all 4 drs) might be bad or stuck. Push the switch with your finger several times to see if it is working properly. Also on your switch for the lights might be turned all the way to the left (or right) If you turn the light switch it will make your dash lights briter or dimer but if you turn ot all the way to the left or right it will make the inside light stay on. Close your doors, sit in the drivers seat and turn the light switch(on the dash) to see if the light goes off. Don't turn the light switch hard if will kind of snap on or off, you can feel it when it does. Some time when your on a long trip a brite instrument reading gets to be annoying and people turn the dash lights down.

CAR WONT START BUT LIGHTS STILL WORK

with headlights on, try cranling the engine. I they dim the batt is no good, If they go out, you have a battery connection problem/loose or poor contact on groung(neg) cable. If nothing happens your starter relay is kaput.. Good luck
