Fuse Symbols

there is only one schematic symbol for a fuse, if you are looking for a fuse panel diagram for fuse assignments in a given vehicle, it would probably help if you told us what vehicle you are referring to, the colour of the car doesn't matter to us.
alternatively, go to the wreckers and purchase a brand new second hand fuse panel lid with assignment diagram inside

1998 dodge grand caravan fuse panel diagram

There is also a labeled HORN relay in the fuse box next to the battery... the fuse box is long and rectangular. The inside of the lid has the diagram for both the fuses and relays it contains. The other is a fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver's side. It cover lights and a few other items. The fuses are labeled, but the relays are NOT. One of the relays, controls the emergency hazard flashers. You need to check both places and replace any fuse that states HORN and the HORN relay, to be sure the problem goes away.

If you don't have the User manual that came with the vehicle on hand get a Haynes repair manual on the vehicle. There is a fuse layout diagram in there.

What is the fuse assignment (name) for the two power ports? The CIG fuse is good but the other two ports have a blown fuse and I can not locate it. Thanks, Milton

this fuse is located under the hood in the fuse / relay box heres a diagram to help you locate it. they are labeled, but it wont list power outlet, so just check all these fuses. good luck.3bbddfe.gif

Where the cigarette lighter fuse in car 2005 grand prix.

i just had to change mine. It is under the hood, on the passenger side. Its located in a black box that has either a lightning bolt on it, or says fuses. the box is near the battery if that helps. When you open it, it will be labeled as "Auxilery Power" or "Aux Power"on the diagram located on the inside of te box. It is a single fuse. It was confusing on mine because there were two things labeled "10", but it will be a thin, probabily yellow fuse that says 25 on it. Dont get it confused with the big square grey thing on the left side. You might even have a spare fuse if you check the diagram.

Yes the interior lights are always hot circuits, the radio keep alive memory most likely runs off this same circuit. The fuse should be marked courtesy lights.
