Question about GMC Jimmy

1 Answer

Some **** broke the outside mirror (glass) on the driver's side on my 2000 GMC Jimmy. The glass had some kind of oil under it. I presume for the day/night dimming feature. Is the glass hard to replace? Is replacement a DIY or dealer job? Approximate cost? Thanks

Front passenger seat won't move back, stuck in forward position

You better get a mirror to check under the seat , there might be a loose or disconnect or broke spring . Compare it to your driver's seat so you can find the difference and what's broke or disconnect.

hope this will helps a little !

Door panel removal 1995 GMC Jimmy

There are two screws under a cover at the bottom of your inside door handle and on your door latch. Other then that snap all the fasteners free from the door before you pull the panel, oh and have some silicon to re attach the plastic vapor to the door. Good luck

Need to replace passenger side view mirror 200 GMC Jimmy Diamond

On my '97, there was a triangular shaped piece of plastic on the inside trim that had to be removed. I think all three mounting screws were under that. It's been a few years, but I think that was how it was done.
I remember it was pretty easy though.
