To bleed the brakes 1st make sure the fuild level is full ,and you will need a assistant . have your assistant pump the brake petal three to four times then hold presure on petal (pushing down ) then open the bleeder valve on the left rear caliper ,have assistant push petal towards the floor until it stops and then hold it there until you close the bleeder valve ,then repeat process four to five time recheck brake fulid level then repeat same process on right rear caliper next go to right front and end on left front ,keep a eye on the fuild level so that it is not allowed to run out or you will have to start over again ,there is no speical procedure ,any other questions just ask

I replaced my brake master cylinder on my 99 ford explorer wen I bleed the brakes do I have to bleed both front & brakes

Hi,you need to bleed the hole system, start at the wheele nearest to the master cylinder then the other wheele on the front then the two back wheeles, remember unless you have some one to pump the brake peddle for you will need a self-bleeding kit,all the best.

How can i fix brake lights on 2004 ford sportstrac

There's a switch on the brake pedal arm, the switch controls the brake lights. It may need an adjustment or replacement.
Hope this helps.

Spongy brakes

Does sound like you need a new master cylinder. On a 2000 you wont need to back bleed. You will just need to follow the instruction and bleed the master and all four points. you will probably need to bleed the ABS block and proportioning valve but only if they have bleeders on them.

I replaced the mas cyl 2004 ford explorer. Gas padal won't work

You need to bleed the air from the system. First if you replaced the master cylinder you need to bleep both ports that the line hook too. Then hook the lines up and bleed all four corners of the vehicles brakes starting with the right rear since it is the furthest point away from the master cylinder. As you bleed the system remember to refill the master so you don't' ingest more air into the system again.
