Each stereo has its own code that can be reset.
All you have to do is take it to a Eurovox dealer, and he can reset it.
But you can also request it from the maker.
Here is how and what they say:

How can I obtain my security code?

Download the Security Code Request form located in the Service & Support section. Fill it out and send it in via fax or email with proof and payment. The serial number and model number of the piece of Eurovox equipment is essential. A new security code card will then be mailed to you and your details will be registered in our database.

Why does Go Technologies charge for supplying a security code?

Security and administrative reasons. We enter your details in our database so if you lose it again you only have to identify yourself and give the serial number and we will give you the security code again, we also send you a new code card.

How do I enter my security code to my Eurovox radio/cassette/CD Unit?

Refer to the owner's manual of your equipment. Turn ignition key to 'Accessories' and a number '1' or code '1' or similar will appear. Press corresponding preset buttons as you read you security code. If you have a 6 digit security code, the display will count the preset buttons pressed. i.e. display will show '1' the '2' then '3' and so on up to '6' regardless of which number is pressed. If the security code is correct, the radio will turn on. If the security code is incorrect, the display will show '2' or 'code 2' or similar. After 3 incorrect attempts, the radio will go into 'lockout mode'.

Why has my radio got horizontal lines on the display and is not responding to any buttons?

The radio has had 3 incorrect security codes entered and is now in lockout mode. For recent model radio's leave 1 hour (some radio's require ignition key to be on accessories). For older model radio's, remove power to radio by either unplugging radio or disconnecting the negative lead on the battery for 1 hour.

My radio will not accept my security code?

(1) This radio may have been replaced and now requires a different security code
(2)The security code you have been supplied is wrong.
(3)This radio has an internal fault. To check if radio works there is a temporary test code '1111' or '111111' can be used for most of Eurovox Radio. This only lasts for approx 3 minutes.

If it is a factory stereo, the dealer can only give the info. However, for some of the higher end cars such as yours, the dealer sometimes wants an outrageous amount of money(over $100 USD).If this is your case, there are several online sites which will give you the code for perhaps $10-$15 USD.Search for 'factory stereo codes',or factory radio or a few other different related words, many sites should appear.I have seen them but never had anyone willing to use them.I really don't think they would be fraudulent or someone would have reported them by now. After you find a site, try doing a search with the websites name and the word 'scam' added.i.e. ( scam) for example. If someone is scammed by a site, normally they will start or find a forum where other people had similar issues.A little preventitive investigating will easily save you from problems. You will need your car's VIN,and perhaps what kind of stereo such as receiver/CD etc. Also,I never rely on statements posted by any place online. There have been people caught paying a place to make up good ratings about their product,WITHOU EVER SEEING THEM.If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

We do not have that informaton available. If the dealer won't do it free,we certainly cannot get it free either. It is copyrighted material so whoever charges for it had to pay a fee or buy the codes from the manufacturers.Asking someone else will not get you any closer. Here is a link if you are in the UK.Greg

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

I"m looking for a code for this model that belongs to an Audi A6 made by Blaupunkt.

Call your Audi dealer with your VIN number and the above radio serial number. Some dealers look up the code for free (others charge for it). The are NOT required to give you the code. The code was provided to you in the operator manual (typically on a perforated card).

Can you help me unlock my Audi A6 radio.

hi, the only place you can get this code from is the main dealers you use to be able to get them over the phone but they no longer do this as thieves were knicking the stereos then ringing up and getting the unlock code and then selling them on, so all car dealers now will only give the code out if you take the car to them and the owners documents and some id they wont charge for giving you this code but make sure you write it down for future reference.

Im sorry their is no easy fix for this problem but its going to be a case of taking the car to the main dealers and asking them for the code this will then solve your problem.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

2001 Audi A6 2.7t , my audi symphony radio locked out

You will need the code to get it working. You may need Audi for this. Never disconnect the battery, or the alarm with trip on. Since it is frozen, I would try and remove the fuse, and reinstall it to reset the stereo. Then try the code.
I got lucky in my 2001 VW passat, when the stereo code was needed, but then the next day it started working by itself.

How do i fond the code to my radio for my audi a6

The code comes from the factory on a card - about the size of a credit card. You may find that it is still in with the service documentation or wallet somewhere.

If not you can obtain the code from an Audi Dealer for free. You need to remove the stereo and get the serial number from the back of it. Take this along with the cars VIN (Chassis) No. to your nearest dealer and they will run the numbers for you and get you the code.

You need both numbers as the radio is locked to the car within the Audi Network.

It is specifically stated on the original card that if you loose the code you will be provided with the number by Audi for free so don't let the dealer try to charge you for it as some will try this.

Hope this helps. Please do rate this answer. Many Thanks.

try another dealer. maybe try to get ahold of one of the techs at lunch time. this info should be free to the car owner, just be ready to supply the title to the car for some proof. maybe try buying the parts guys lunch or coffee and donuts....this usually works for this type of problem. unfortunaley this info really is dealer only..

I just posted a solution for this problem. It comes straight from the radio manual. The dealer should have told you this. If you want him to do it he'll charge money for his time. IF YOU LOST YOUR CODE. THE DEALER CAN HELP YOU OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR 4 DIGIT CODE: dd43c71.jpg
