Question about 1999 Dodge Durango
Over a period of 2-3 days, it went from popping right off to cranking 10 seconds before starting. It was an incremental change - 2 secs longer, 3 secs longer 4 secs longers etc..
What are the likely problems?
Can an old wrencher from the past fix it himself?
Yes, you can! Make sure that you do NOT have any bleed off of pressure at the rail. Chances are, you do. Now the bad news; This is most likely caused by a bad check valve assembly, located in the fuel tank. A big job, but not impossible...accordianman
