Check for blown fuse, under the dash, drvers side and also under hood in square black box. usually on the drivers side fender well. when you remove the main fuse box cover, turn lid over for location of the heater blower motor. it may say heat, or maybe a/c blower, or just a/c check those fuses for a blown fuse. also check connections under the hood on passenger side, you'll see a round black container on the dash panel under the hood next to the windsheild, check plug in to insure that it's plugged in properly. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya, com if this does not help, please repost your question to fixya.com

Take the blower assembly out. Some foreign matter may have fallen into it. Clean it and perform bench test.

Heater is not working

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

The heater blower motor on a '92 transport has been replaced but quit working again. Is there a resistor that has possibly gone bad? And if so where is it located?

THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR CONTROLS ALL SPEEDS EXCEPT HIGH . IF IT DOESN'T WORK ON ANY SPEED, IT MUST BE A BAD MOTOR, OR BAD FUSE OR A BAD SWITCH. IF YOU HAVE HIGH ONLY, THE RESISTOR MAY BE THE PROBLEM & IS PROBABLY UNDER THE DASH, NEAR THE BLOWER MOTOR.

Have 1992 El Dorado, a/c or heater motor will not run, dash display shows working, replaced resistor, still does not work.Any suggestions?

had same thing happen on my 92 el dorado. problem is at the blower control power relay the 2 plug connectors or the connector for the blower fan. theree is a flow chart to test the voltages going to these connector in the factory shop manual, for a 92 el dorado on page 1C-17 if I remember correctly. if voltages check ok then make sure plugs are securely plugged in. if still does not work, then it's the blower control power relay. good luck!

Location of heater blower relay on '92 Accord

If the fuse is good, check to see if there is voltage to the blower motor,if there is,replace the blower motor.Sometimes, not always,if you bump the blower motor,it will start working,if this happens, then the blower motor is bad,if it does not,the fan switch could be bad,but the relay is usally near the blower motor.Testing it with a test light is the best way to test it,ground one end of the test light, the other end has a point on it.Use the piont of the test light to touch all the legs on the relay, with the key on,and the fan on high. The test light will light up,on almost all the legs, but it will also activate the relay when you touch the right leg of the relay, the relay needs to stay plugged up as you do this.If you can not access the legs of the relay, because of a skirt on the relay, push the point of the relay into the wire that you are testing,or into the plug, near the leg of the relay. The legs I am refuring to,are the prongs on the relay. If the relay clicks and turns the fan on,when you touch the right one, then the fan,and the relay are good,it will be the blower fan switch. Now if you already have high, blower fan,and the lower speeds are the problem, replace the blower resister,It is mounted right next to the blower motor, and has about 7 wires plugged into it.

Heater fan has stopped working in honda accord 92

The blower motor has died, you will need to replace it and last time I did one they were quite expensive (300 bucks), but the prices may have come down
