2002 KIA SPECTRA USING EXCEESSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL. WHITE SMOKE FROM EXHAUST.POOR ENGINE PERFORMANCE

A sign that you need new rings since excessive loss of oil and white smoke means oil is going to the combution chamber of the engine and bad rings are letting that happen. take it to a technician to make sure you get it right. Thank you for visiting Fixya.

My 2003 Kia Spectra and its linking oil like crazy and the check engine light is still on after and oil change. Could I have a cracked o oil pan or is it something more?

First you should check the oil plug and filter to make sure the plug was tightend on tight and the oil filter to make sure that is fit tight. If either one of these is not tight it will make the car leak like crazy. If you had a crack oil pan the mechanic should have told you that when you had the oil changed.
