SOUNDS LIKE THE BEARING PACKING IS STARTING TO LEAK IN THE WATER PUMP. YOUR ONLY SOLUTION IS TO REPLACE THE PUMP. IF YOU GET UNDERNEATH AND LOOK UP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WATER PUMP YOU WILL SEE A SMALL WEEP HOLE AND THERE YOU WILL SEE THE WATER COMING OUT TO VERIFY IT IS YOUR WATER PUMP AND NOT ANOTHER ISSUE.

SOURCE: 1995 Isuzu Rodeo 4WD 6Cly leaking water/coolant

I had a problem similiar to that, it ended up actually being a small 5/16 coolant hose that went to the head (one for each side). it was difficult to find but right where the hose enters the engine it was cracked and leaking. it's kind of behind each side of the coil rail.

Run a coolant pressure test to look for pressure leaks. I suspect that it will be behind the water pump impeller that corrodes from water turbulence and allows water to leak through pin holes into the sump. It could also be a head gasket of head bolts leaking past the head studs/threads so a compression test may also help. By removing the rocker cover and with the coolant system under pressure you may see droplets of water at a head stud.

Water keeps running out

You need to check where the water is going, Look for external leaks, check the hoses for wet spots and look at the pulley end of the motor to see if there is water coming from the back of the waterpump.
If you can't find any external leaks the bad news is that it's an internal leak which will mean that your head gasket is leaking and will need to be repaired.

I have a 2006 Isuzu NPR that is leaking oil. I called husky trucks and they said to look online to find out how to fix the referential seal leak. I could not find any how tos to fix this probelm. ...

It is a bit new to have a serious oil problem.
Never heard of a "referential" seal. I am familiar with rear main seal and differential seal.
But first you need to find the leak.
The thing to do is steam clean the engine so that you can see better.
(avoid heat or water around alternator, starter, ignition, etc)
Then put cardboard under it.

Also a bad PCV can cause excess crankcase pressure that forces oil out.
Top valve cover gasket is very common.
Rear main seal will come out from bell housing bottom.
You might also want to consider thicker oil, like Castrol 20W-50.
Oil pressure sending units also often leak.
Filter could be not sealing right, due to things like left over seal, etc.

It is the water pump most likely, they have ,what they call a weep hole in the bottom under the pulley,so they will leak out to let you know to change them right away.If it is on the top coming from the intake area,it would be the intake, they are also bad to leak, but look at the pump, under the pulley.

Engine sputters at times when driven up hills or in the hot weather.

Sounds like a head gasket is cracked, any water in oil? That will make oil look like muddy water. Any oil leaks under vehicle? Trace to see if coming out from under head on side of engine block.

Lose power in a head wind?

You may never see signs of leaks or water in oil, it could be a crack of gasket allows combustion power to flow from one cylinder to the adjacent cylinder.

My 1991 Isuzu Rodeo had this problem, it is an 8 hour fix and a couple of days wait after you take head into shop to be milled. Then 4 hours to put back together, very simple to do yourself, but you need a Chilton Manual from local auto store, otherwise $1200.00 to have a good shop fix for you.

I have a 1989 2.6lt holden rodeo which is losing water and overheating. I can't find any leaks anywhere. Is it a blown head gasket or a cracked head?

the water is most likely making its way to the sump and mixing with oil creating a milky looking oil or exiting via the exhaust from a leak into a cylinder. sorry head has to come off and check timing cover too for corrosion and leaks

there should be a hole in the pulley that you can stick a screwdriver through and it will fit into a hole or spot on the block to hold it while you loosen the bolt.
