Sounds like you are in need of a new water pump. Or you could have a leak in the hose where it connects to Water pump. If you get water pump replaced make sure that the radiator hoses are not cracking or Split or dry rotted .

Y would water be coming out the bk of my bmw engine and making it steam

In cold weather some steaming is normal as a cold engine warms up. Otherwise, it sounds like a blown head gasket.

Water coming out as quick as i can put it in, appears to be coming from back of water pump

Probably a broken heater hose or water pump by-pass hose or a cracked water pump housing. It would be helpful to know what engine we are talking about. YEAR, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE

Black water coming out of my exhaust

If the water is not too dark, there is nothing wrong with the car. It is quite normal for water to come out of the car exhaust as this shows that the compression of the engine is still very intact and there is not fault with the engine.
The water coming out is then black because of the carbon molecules that are being combusted or used up during the running of the engine.
In summary, your engine bringing out black water is only a sign to show that the engine is still in very good shape.

Water coming out the exhaust

Water out of the exhaust is a natural by product of the catalytic process that occurs in your converter. A lot of water coming out the exhaust is NOT normal and indicates a possible head gasket problem.Watch you engine temperature gauge for overheating. The only way to know 100% is to have a mechanic pressure test your cooling system. Good Luck

Water leak at front of engine very small amount maybe a gallon every 2 weeks on 5.3 suburban 2002

check your hoses for poor condition and loose clamps. Check the gasket around your water pump as well.

Water spill coming from engine area

You should let the engine cool off, and then fill the radiator to the top. Start the engine, and then look from underneath the vehicle to see where exactly the fluid is coming from. Could be a hose, the radiator, or the water pump
