Question about 2005 Pontiac Bonneville
it sounds like it is getting too much air, check all air pipes and make sure the air system is sealed with no rips or tears in the air pipes, after market none genuine air filters such as k&n would cause this if the car was not set up right to take one.
try and stave the engine of air by covering up air intakes if the engine runs then it is getting to much air. if it dies then it could be getting to much fuel, but I would go for the air test first.
Hope this helps
