All KIA/HYUNDAI engines have, for the same engine size/type,interchangeable parts.the only real difference is with engine maagement computer(the set up is different/programmed).So if the heads have the same cast marks they will fit.

How many motor mounts does a 2005 Kia spectra have? Do they all have to be replaced at the same service visit? Are there different mounts for automatic and standard transmission mounts? thanks!

Will do my best since I'm reading from a Chilton manual that covers Sephia/Spectra 1994-2004. Here I will quote directly from the book. It's under ENGINE: Engine mounts-check and replace. Page 2A-22.
1) There are 4 engine/transaxle mounts on these models; the front engine mount, the passenger side engine mount (next to the timing belt upper cover), the rear lower engine mount (under the intake manifold) and the transaxle mount (under the air filter housing).
There is much more to this section, but you were asking about how many, not about replacing them yourself. And if it were I, yes I would replace them all at the same time. Given the labor intensive (jack up and secure car. Then jack up and secure engine, etc) have them all done so that all are the same age. As a couple side notes. The book doesn't make reference to any difference whether it be manual or automatic. And you would do well to go to your local auto parts store and pick up one of these manuals. This particular one covers not only our 1995 Sephia, but the 2002 Spectra as well. Makes sense since the Spectra is a re-badged Sephia.

Timing belt alinment

there is a haynes manuel for your vehicle covers both sephia and spectra from 1994 thru 2004 might try used book stores or auto parts chain like advanced auto or auto zone . if they dont have one in stock ask them to look up the next store. i tried several time to walk you threw it all this hunting and pecking i was getting lost myself and i dont know how to scan and send any pictures . our kia's have a blue book value of around $500 in fair condition . im going to keep that in mind the next break down.

How many miles should i change my timing belton my 2003 kia spectra

The Recommended Interval is every 60K miles. Your mileage may vary. I would NOT let it go much more then 65K as you will be asking for some real trouble if it fails.

Luckily this is a relatively painless job on the spectra versus some other cars out there. If you are handy it should take about 2.5-3 hours. A walk though can be found at:

1999 KIA Sephia is only firing on 2 cyclinders number 1 and 3 not 2 and 4. What could be the problem

I worked on a 2000 Sephia which had a similar problem. Not sure if the engine is the same, but I recall the distributorless ignition system used an unusual set-up. It used two coil packs, sitting on alternating cylinders. When one goes out, it will kill two alternating cylinders, just as you are describing. If I recall correctly, the part is around $100 from a dealership, but if you're feeling lucky, you can check a junkyard.

Here are some quick and dirty instruction on how to replace the part
