I can't locate where the power steering fluid go in my 1997 Nissan Maxima

Heres an a pic that will help. The transmission has no reservoir, but has a dip stick. This is also the location for adding transmission fluid. You must use a very slim funnel.

should be on the passenger side front corner next to the coolant reservoir and behind the washer fluid. and it takes regular power steering fluid.

i have a 1999 maxima se and I cant find where to put the power steering fluid or the transmission fluid. I see the place for one of them but not sure which one it is. i lost my book.

On the left side of the engine about half way in the compartment there is a cylindrical container with a black top on it. Power steering fluid goes here.

Steering wheel won't turn on a 96 Nissan Maxima.

Broken drive belt or the reservoir for the power steering is out of fluid !

i would use only what is reccomended by the manufactuerer because using the wrong fluids may cause you some damage

Well, if you havent already found the answer, and being a 1996 Nissan owner myself, if you open the bonnet of your car, and look to the left side centre of the engine compartment, you`ll see the the plastic bottle that holds the power steering fluid, there.
