Blower for AC/Heater stopped working

AC stopped while driving last week, air stopped blowing from vents. I have no blower. I can feel a little air coming thru the vents, but noting when turned speed from off to 1 , 2, 3, or 4. Have checked all fuses associated with fans and AC as well as the relays. I was told could be Blower Motor or Blower Switch but both are in the dash. Any suggestions?

My blower motor first stopped working on speed 4; now speed 3 doesn't work. Speed 1 and 2 are okay - for now. Is the blower switch the most likely problem? Thanks.

If you can reach the blower motor, it could be a worn out carbon brush of the blower motor. if they are, buy a set of carbon brush, learn how to replace them and it would be back running in no time. by the way, when you pull out the carbon brush holder, make sure you dont interchange the position. you can put them back wards and what would happen is the rotation will be reversed. either you reversed the carbon brush holder or just simply interchange the wires that are coming to the motor. i hope i was able to help...

    you're right yankeeflyer,

the blower switch is the problem. number 3 contact is loose and no longer touches the moving contact. if you can open the sitch, you can notice a burnt on contact number 3. you can remedy it by soldering contact number 3 . fill it up with lead so that it would become thicker and would eventually touch and make conatct with the moving contact.

pls rate me and i hope i was able to solve your problem.

What about cold air working one time nad stopping next. Could that be a relay or the blower motor?

2008 Jeep Liberty-My heater was barely warm-blowing fine tho. Was told I had a plugged heater core and needed a new one. Had a new heater core put in and then my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air....

I woild be checking the vent controls as if the ac is working and the core was blocked then the air would be cool when the heat was selected but not changing Fixing the heater has resulted in a /c not being good enough to cool the air if the vent is not properly selecting. The point is that if the vent selection is not working properly (vacuum hoses) then the 2 faults will be related.

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with hemi. AC intermittently stops blowing

Sounds like the blower motor or the connection to it is failing.Next time it stops give the area below the glove compartment a good whack,if the blower does anything, change it.

Blower speed question (ac/heater). This just

This is definitely 100% the Blower Motor Resistor.
Replace this and all speeds will work fine.
This Resistor is defined with 3 to 4 wires going into it, and is located adjacent to the Blower Motor.
It is easily access, removed and replaced.
I will post an additional comment on Part Number, Price and where available.

A/C and Heater will not blow air..

Blower motor resistor is most common ($20-$70) it controls the blower motor fan and speeds or fan relay fuse (usually under the hood) If it's not either then the blower itself is bad. You can pull the motor and apply 12volts to it to test, if it spins then the resistor.

Was driving, went to put on ac, all heat and air suddenly will not come out. No air will come out of any vents. You can feel it, if you cover it with your hand, but is very week.

check the battery voltage, check the fuse for the blower motor, lastly, check the blower motor. I hope you hit it along...

Air conditioner blower stopped blowing

It could be a fuse, or the blower motor resistor.

Hot and Cold no Blow

Most likely it will be the blower. Check to see if there is power to it, and then ground it. If it runs, the blower speed control is likely bad. If not it will be the blower motor.
