This has two service actions for it... One to change the steering column and electrical... And the second item. Check to see if changed and you hear a whistle sound in the car after you turn the car off. Does the sound come from the fuse panel area around the pass. seat? You have a battery drain problem. Some of the components do not have enough power to run the truck. Does the car sit a lot and you have to jump it?

Turned out I had a a broken wire under the seat that caused a bad draw. But now my stering wheel mudual that retracts and extends the wheel is shot. Your solution kept me from spending to much money right off the bat. It looking for loose connections that led me to the seat wire.

Pulsating drone sound when driving

On that car, it's probably one of the brake rotors, if the wheels are torqued unevenly, or too tight, they warp easily.

I'm hearing a very loud sound from my 1999 gram am gt also,

If it's a power steering pump low on fluid, it will buzz real loud and worse when you turn the steering wheel left or right.

Fill with power steering fluid. Look in owners manual for type of fluid.

when fluid is added, turn stering wheel full left and full right to purge trapped air.

If this does not fix, you may have a bad pump.

Please rate as fixya if ths solves your issue.

Rpeort back on rsults and good luck.

What is this noise? Is this noise clacking the lifters, fuel injec

I would go to an autoparts store, and purchase some Sea Foam. You can put it in your gas and your oil, and it should clear your sound up if its lifters. I used it, and it worked great for the lifters on my Dakota. They will make noise sometimes when its really cold. Try it out. Hope it helps.
