Question about 2002 Mercury Cougar
There is the couple or ways you can get to the starter that doesnt require the manifold coming off just enough lift on the car so that you can get to the starter easily the starter should be accessible threw the wheel well with long socket extension with bendy bar extender to get to the bolts then the starter should drop down ive done 4 fords in my life and i did a 2002 cougar i didnt have to take off the manifold i just had to have car lifted high enough to get into area where bolts were then slide the starter out threw wheel well
