The P0513 is a bad immobilizer code, which is part of the security system. Apparently a bad code can cause the engine to run rough, which could be causing the other code. P0404 is an EGR code.

P1779 is a transmission torque converter code, that will require diagnosis by a tranny shop.

The P0404 is EGR Position Sensor Performance. Changing the EGR should solve the problem. The labor time guide only calls for .7hrs to change, so it shouldn't be a problem to do this yourself. And the EGR should be able to be obtained from any local parts store (i suggest a better quality part store like NAPA as opposed to AutoZone)
