I lost the key to my carn dealers wants 1500 $ so I need another option

You don't give any car details so I'm not sure what to advise. The cost is probably in line with most modern cars because all ignition systems have to be recoded to any key change. Only the dealer has these codes.

I lost my 2001 dodge carivan key can i get it replaced?

You can get one cut at the dealer for less than $20 for most vehicles if it is not equipped with a key fob built into the key. It will take about 5 minutes once you get your turn at the dealers parts counter.

if you had the keys there are several places to get one cut, but as youve lost them only the main dealer would have the right key for that model.

Lost keys need new ones for this make how much do you think it would cost?

cost depends on whether yours had a chip in it.if your ignition key was metal only, the cost not very much.if the end had a plastic peice on it and you could unlock your car with a push button and it had a panic button on it, then about $75.00 from dealer only. you will need to take your vehicle registration and cars vin# and photo i.d. to get a key. i would call the nissan dealer and ask how much and if they have to order it. that happens sometimes.thank you for choosing

Lost key

You cannot disable the immobiliser. If it were that easy, any car theif could defeat it by searching the internet. If you dont have any more master keys, you will have to have your local Toyota dealer reseed (reprogram) the immobiliser code, and program new keys for you. It should be about 2 hours labor and cost of keys, but only a dealer can do it. They need to use the Toyota scan tool, and access a Toyota only website with security codes.
