Question about 1999 Ford Windstar
When I trun the wheel to the left or right especially, it makes a slow grinding sound. Now my engine light is on. Two different problems? Related? The grinding sound went away once when I put power steering fluid in it...
Check front hub bearings have engine light checked do you have an abs light on or tracktion control light on

Mechanic replaced the rack and pinon that was leaking-that was the noise, air getting into the hose. The engine was a seperate problem and the IMP?? was replaced. The part was cheeper than the labor cost for this one!!
