Have a BMW 325i 2003 and it also will not start. All lights radio etc.. Work. Starter turns over but will not start. Security led is blinking normally. Any ideas

I would try replacing the battery first. Even a fully charged battery can have bad cells which will cause the battery to not have enough "power" to turn over the starter/engine.

You may still have a battery issue. The starter motor takes a tremendous amount of power to operate, where a light or radio draws much less current. I would attempt a jump start first to eliminate your battery and give you a direction in troubleshooting your issue.

If it makes no noise when you try to start it but the lights, radio, etc. all work, replace the starter.

The starter won't even turn the engine? Is your battery weak? Can you jump start it? When you say all the lights do you mean the dash lights or the headlights and tailights? Weak batteries can power all the lights but still be too weak to start car.

if u disconnect the battery without any backup power the system will be disfunction. need ot go to service center to reset the ecu.

Go to an auto parts store and get a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle and look up disassembly of the dash board area. That will be the best solution to getting that radio out.

May sound stupid, but use a voltmeter to double check your batteries' charge.

Loose? Rusty?

Check starter ground for same problem.

Check the fuses and relays in the fuse box in the engine compartment.

Your main heavy duty components are fused there.
