See if the rim is bent or if there is mud packed on the inside of the rim if so clean with a wire brush or get a new rim for a scarp yard

2007 dodge caliber rt slap stick put new tires on 3 months ago driver side front tire is worn cant let off wheel car pulls bad to the right side of the road

The popping could be from a bad CV axle joint, or a bad wheel bearing. Better get checked, sounds very worn. Raise the wheel on a jack and watch for play. Grab wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock, and shake back and forth-watch for play. Wheel bearing? CV joint -is boot still good? Ball joints at bottom of wheel attaching point to the control arm-check this for play, too.

Why is my nissan versa making noise that sounds like a bad wheel bearing?

Excellent first guess...

Standard Operating Procedure for reversing a noise
resulting from putting on winter tires... Would be to put the
non-winter tires back on... To see if the noise clears.

I have heard TANKS make less noise than some of these "WINTER TIRES "...

Otherwise you need to be testing and wiggling EVERY joint, bearing & busing... Looking for looseness or Play...

Hope this helps.

Had R/F wheel hub/bearings replaced due to the loud noise it was making. The mechanic said bearing were shot however could still hear a small noise towards left front. He put new hub/bearing on left front...

u joints dont make a whine type noise. could it be tires? rotate tires and see if noise changes. did he hear the noise with the truck in the air? could be the front diff. with a 2006 explorer I would not have put the old bearing back in, its going to need it anyhow, sooner or later.

Bad road noise/tire growl. Thinking it was just the tires, I just changed OE Goodyears (with 33k on them) with new Firestones--and I still hear lots of noise. Car is maintained by the book. 30k service 3...

Have you checked the spindle bearings, what about the rear wheel bearings, jack up the car and spin the wheels, start the car and put in drive for the front wheels (you might have to sit inside and shut the door to hear it), always stop the wheels from turning before putting back in park.

Honda Pilot 111,000 miles. Wheel or tire noise?

it can be any of the above, rotate the tires and see if the noise location seems to change, but the last thing i would suspect is the CV, they just click when turning, the wheel bearing is my choice here, they roar, tires make a diff noise.
