Question about 1997 Pontiac Grand Am
How do I know if my ac compressor is not working? When I turn it on i blows hot air not cold. We put coolent in but still does not cool.
It's probably just out of free on in the compressor because if the compressor was out then the belt would lock up.You can get free on from auto zone, advanced auto parts ect. get some of that then there should be a thing on the compressor that looks like a valve stim on a tire read the directions and go from there but im pretty sure thats the problem.Free on is not very cheap though it's about $30 for two small cans of it.
