Question about 1999 Ford F150 Regular Cab

A leak my truck ford f-150 extended cab 1999 is a leak of antufreeze in the bottom of the rear engine exactliy at the bar of the chassis side of passanger. thanks. my e-mail is chalcomex05@hotmail.com

The only way to permanently fix that is to drain the block of all fluids and detach the battery, then weld the leak hole shut. You can try using a stop-leak product from your local auto parts store for a temporary fix.

most ford trucks are the same chassis configuration regardless of style side or tray back
if the replacement frame is 98 model f 150 it should be the same

I have a wet floor on the passenger side. I had the heating system checked and was told the coils were fine. What is the cause of the leakage into the cab of my truck? It's a 1998 Ford F-150 Lariat...


It can only be one of 3 things

heater core leaking. Sweet smell an dfilm on windshield

a/c drain plug blocked, not allowing condenaste to drain on ground

water leak though a seam leak on cowl or around air intake under leaf screen at base of glass on passenger side.

Does the rear seatback fold down in a Ford F-150 extended cab?


The 04-08 MY changed to a bottom of the seat folds up, where the 03 and older where the seat back folded down.

Do you need to remove the seat back ?

OBD Code says ''Lean Bank 2 - System too lean


Bank 2 is generally the passanger side. Recently, We have run across a few system to lean codes in Fords. We have ended up changing the O2 sensors.

Send them back and get the extended cab bars. if you have doors behind the passenger and driver seat it is the extended cab. If you don't want to do that, if you know a welder, they can weld them on for you.

RADIATOR CAP LOCATION


there isnt one. the plastic jug on driver side between headlight and air box is how you fill the radiator. there is a hose from the bottom of that jug that runs to the bottom of the radiator.
