Easiset way to reset the OBD is to remove the negative battery terminal, leave disconnected for a few moments then re-connect and all codes will be cleared.

Hope this helps

Can anyone tell me where I can find ths odb 1 connector for engine codes in a 94 Izuzu Rodeo? Thanks in advance.

Some versions use another location. It is on the knee panel on the driver's side. It is a 'clip in' cover plate just below the dash switch's between the steering wheel and the door. Attached is a photo to use for reference.

My abs light wont go off what does that mean

No OBD 1 or 2 Malfunction Lights will go off, until
the fault that caused them to come on is fixed

If you clear them they will come back

If you clear them ALL data is lost & delays the
diagnostic process to find & repair the vehicle

I think you best to study OBD Systems on the internet
as that technology OBD1 started in 1981 & OBD2 in 1996

Can u tell me what the problem of this code PO340

I have a 1999 BMW 740 il My SES light came on so I hooked up my OBD code reader p0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction is what came up. so I went to the BMW parts department and bought the Camshaft Position Sensor.
I Replaced the with the new. My SES light was still on so I hooked up the OBD reader again hoping it may reset my SES light but it didn't what did happen is the OBD reader came up with the same code (p0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction) witch is what I just replaced. now I'm at a loss. I'm not sure how to reset my SES light and if I just replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor why dose it the OBD code p0340 still come up. Any suggestions?

Need diagnostic codes read on 1994 nissan Pathfinder

yes. you must read the codes from the flashing red and green lights on your ECU which is beneath your passenger seat. Rather than go into the gory details on how to do this, please refer to the instructions located at the following link. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showtopic=21

Where is the obd port on my 1995 Isuzu Rodeo?

d2610cc.jpg
Here is a photo of the obd connector on a 1993 Isuzu Trooper.

The connector is on the transmission hump about 6 inches from the accelerator pedal. It is inside a black hood. Right next to the white OBD connector is an identical green connector that I have not tested.

The OBD port is a white 3 hole plug. Right next to it in the photo is a green 3 hole plug that I believe is for automatic transmission diagnostics. The plug is different from other plugs under the dash as it will not accept a .25" tab connector.

The picture shows a 20 ohm resistor being used to short pin 1 and 3 of the white plug. The resistor is to prevent a melted wire in case the plug shorted is the wrong plug.

To read the error codes from the engine computer, the mechanic is supposed to short pin 1 and pin 3 of the OBD port plug. Then the mechanic turns on the ignition switch and counts flashes of the "check engine" light to determine the error values being reported.
