You can use the same bolts. Replace the gasket and use a small amount of RTV.

Need to replace the fuel pressure regulator on 1997 Chevy Silverado, 305 auto, what is the best way to do it, and are there any ninety degree open end wrenches available to disconnect fuel lines? or other...

best thing is to unhook your battery positive terminal first. advancedauto has the tool to do this. it will take you a good half hour with the presure reg already to go. also purchase all the gaskets for the housing don't reuse the old ones.

Flooding out. using lots of fuel. black smoke

you could have a bad injector spider if the truck is vortec,if not look to the idle air control valve if this part is bad it won't get the right amount of air and flood the truck out, hints why you are smelling fuel, also look at to o2 sensor if this is bad the computer won't adjust the timing another reason you're smelling fuel . hope this helps you and good luck!
