2005 nissan armada Windows opening by themselves whether I lock doors or leave them unlocked. I thought I might be holding unlock button too long on key fob, but it happened again last night. Key fob was sitting on desk. noone touched it. Armada was in garage. I went out and headlights were blinking and windows which had been closed were open. What's the problem? This has happened several times when I have been parked in shopping centers

I'd of thought u have a faulty door lock . If the car thinks the door lock key is turned to unlock and held there all the windows will open and unlock the car , the same as if u hold the key to lock it will close all the windows and lock the car
a dealer will have to reset the computer if this dont work....put key in door and unlock/hold key over,(windows go down)then lock/hold key over (windows go up).then press unlock button on remote for 30 secs, you have reset the alarm and the windows(comfort mode).leave car alone for a few mins then try opening door as usual.....
I had that happen too and found out that if you hold the unlock button down on your FOB for about 4-5 seconds then it will roll down the front windows. It's actually a feature, not a problem. You may have accidentally mashed something up against the FOB while it was in your pocket and you were within range of the car. That's what I did. Freaked me out the first time I walked out in the driveway and both front windows were down and I know I didn't leave them open.
Im no professional but i did recently buy a 93 maxima and i have the same security alarm problem and my powered locks dont work at all. im taking off the door panel today to take a look and see if the alarm sensor is loose or damaged, if it is, ill probably just disconnect it. one thing i have noticed though is that when i hit the lock or unlock button, i hear a faint click from the dashboard area which im assuming is the solenoid on a transistor which would mean that the buttons work but the transistor isnt delivering power. Semi-Solution for Locks: Listen for very quiet click when you lock/unlock doors, if you hear it, uve got major work to do, if you dont, then take apart the door and check the switch connections. Semi-Solution for Alarm: take off the door panel and disconnect the sensor.
You need a body control computer, which controls the windows, door locks and other items. The new computer will have to be programed by a good imports shop or Nissan dealer.
