Question about 2002 Audi A4
My Audi A4 2002 has a delay when I shift from N to D.
When I shift the gear to "D" the car doesn't move. if I hit the gas harder, after a period of delay, the car goes fast since its clutches at a higher RPM.
(Also, if i stop the car on steep ground and then shift to "D" the car would go backwards as if there is no resistance from the gear).
Other than that, when the car gets going, the gear is almost smooth (even the multitronic thing + and -).
Please help diagnose this problem and give us a glimpse of whatever it might be causing this.
I would check the transmission control unit sounds like a software problem. The dealer might be able to just do a reset Good luck.
