Vw passat 2004, 1.8T, Radio has no power, I have checked the fuse per the fuse box diagram (20 amp) seems to be ok, but have changed with a new 20 amp fuse, still no power. Is there a secondary fuse in the radio or other that needs attention??

Hi. There is a fuse at the back of the radio. sl\also check all your 20 amp fuses. the radio fuse is one of those.

CHECK FUSE BOX 10 AMPS MINI FUSE BLOWN

Yes it can be Amp problem,but there are many other possibilities like loose connection,radio wires getting short.

Volkswagen Passat B5 FL 2000 2005 fuse box diagram Auto Genius

For 1998 VW Passat V6 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
The cigarette lighter fuse for 1998 VW Passat V6 is placed in the fuse box / relay plate fascia 1, (driver's door open). See pictures below:

Fuse no.# 33 - F33 (15 Amp.) = Cigarette lighter

friend this not a big issue you can find this wiring diagram or wiring chart, & fuse containing chart at your nearest VW authorized service station or in simple if you are owning a preowned vehicle it come's with owner manual in that you will find the fuse chart that may help you out find appropriate fuse containing & fuse box location so refer to the manual catalog first

there is another fuse at the back of the radio. if that fuse is ok check if there is power comeing to the radio if there is u will need a new radio
