Do u have any code in it?it could be any of a dozen things. Fuel pump, fuel injectors, oxygen sensor, MAF sensor, ECU, and that's just what springs to mind.
if u have it get the code read for free. If the CEL came on, it ought to be storing a code which tells why the CEL came on. There is a good chance this will tell you what the problem is.
If it doesn't, prepare to start throwing parts at it. If it's under warranty, good. If not, do the work yourself, or it'll cost a fortune.

Yellow check engine light is on - is it OK to

as long as the light is not flashing, you should be good to go. you can also have a parts store scan the system. most parts store will do this at no cost. doing this would make sure nothing serious is going on.

1995 vw jetta gl air conditioner fuse 2.0 l

You may not be full of refrigerant... There is a low pressure switch that prevents the AC from actuating the clutch, and the reason is: IF there is not enough refrigerant, you will not be able to move oil through the system and you will have major no engauge...

Get the system checked, most likely there is a leak somewhere..

2003 VW Jetta TDI Check Engine Light Issue

Try disconnecting the battery (unhook on of the terminals) wait for like 15 mins, hook the terminal once again and start the car. I also own a 2003 Jetta and once my engine light would come on after 2 mins of driving. Disconnecting the battery is like resetting the computer and hopefully the sensor.
