a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: egr valve dodge durango

if this is a 4.7l engine, the valve is on the left rear of the intake. loosen the 8mm bolts that hold the egr intake tube to the egr valve, remove the egr bolts, disconnect wiring, remove valve and tube together, attach intake tube loosely to new valve, install new valve, tighten tube bolts to egr using a swivel socket, this is not a 5 minute job, so dont attempt unless you have some time and patience.

A P0300 OBD DTC code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-

SOURCE: reprogram 2005 Dodge Durango key fob

Go to the dealer. It is the only way, they have to use a computer. Changing the battery doesn't make it lose it's program though. You most likely broke the battery hold down. This is the most common thing I see at my shop. If the key still starts the vehicle, you now have a bad key fob. If not, you may be able to get it reprogrammed.

Do you have to pull starter to change crank shaft sensor on 05 Dodge Durango with a 5.7 hemi

I would say yes, but you may be able to leave the wiring connected, if you are careful. Just remove the bolts ans slip the starter back until you can get to the sensor. Be careful not to short the starter terminals to the frame.

Remove the idle speed motor ( referred to as IAC, or AIS motor) and spray clean it with throttle body cleaner, and spray port it came out of with same. Re-install and try it. If that cures it for a while and it starts again, replace it.

Hey zgirl43. I had the same problem and dodge knows this is a problem on the durango's. They had to put in a whole new fuel tank free of charge. check with your dealer.
