Question about 1992 Audi 80
I have a Audi 80 2.0L E estate L reg. When i drive the car the abs light comes on, I have jacked the car up and spun each of the wheels but the light never came on. I have also cleaned up the sensors at each of the wheels but no joy there either. The abs unit under the bonnet seem in good order, with no signs of corrosion or anything. Have you any ideas?????
Hi there mate. I had the same problem. Have you got all the sensors the right distance away from the wheel? I think its 25 thow (excuse my spelling) and its the thickness of a matchbox carton. So just make sure the distance is right and the light should switch off. A trick is using super glue to stick some carton on the sensor and the pressing it in to the max distance. the wheel will push the cardbaord off by itself and it should be sweet.

The unit could have just died...... maybe its time to invest in a new car because any kind of abs work is expensive.
