I have a 93 F150. I have no tail lights/instrument lights and park lights. I checked all fuses and wires at the back. I tried getting 4 used head light switches. All 4 do the same. If I pull it to the...

IF YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC LIGHTS, THERE IS A RELAY BEHIND RIGHT CENTER OF DASH THAT MAY BE INVOLVED. THE COLOR OF THE 4 WIRES ON THE RELAY ARE AS FOLLOWS.

2 WIRES ---- TAN WITH WHITE STRIPE

1 WIRE ----- LIGHT GREEN WITH YELLOW STRIPE

1 WIRE ----- BROWN
ALSO CHECK ALL FUSES WITH A GOOD FUSE TESTER & EXAMINE THE LIGHT SWITCH SOCKET FOR ANY BURNED OR BAD CONNECTIONS. GOOD LUCK DR. VOLT.

I have a 1995 chevy caprice... the headlights intermitantly go off and on. I have changed the multi fundtion switch and the high/low beam switch but problem still lingers.. any suggestions?

Did you try the head lamp switch. The one on the dash not the steering column?if you have power going in then when you turn the head lights on you should have power going out.Power in would be the red wire and going out would be the yellow wire when you turn the lights on.Does your vehicle have twilight sentinel? This is auto lights where they go on by them selves when you have them in auto mode.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I changed my blower fan control (in dash unit)new resistor and relay and still no go any tips

remove the heater control head
there is a square connector with 8 terminals but only uses 6 wires
the connector is black it will have YELLOW,LIGHT BLUE,ORANGE,BROWN wires and i can't remember the other colors
the BROWN wire is the main feed for the control head check for 12V
if you do not have 12V then there is a open between the connector and the fuse pannel
if you have 12V then make sure the plug is not melted and the terminal is good
hope this helps

The dash lights stay on even after the car is shut off. It's killing the battery! I had a small fire behind the radio and I pulled all the wires apart and everything? please help

there are factory wires that dim the factory radio lights ..........that wire has probably melted to a constant powered wire and is back feeding the dash lights...........Check the wires that got burned and remove any melted wires........also the fire\short could have damaged the dash light dimmer switch and or the head\park light switch..(you may have to do some serious digging to find your problem in the wiring.i have seen this problem before and in the most serious cases had to replace the harness behind the dash)
hope this helps........Good luck!
